TITCH SQUARE…
THE MAIN ENTRANCE GETS A FACE-LIFT..
The unique architecture that has come up there greets all who enter MONTFORT. To the left of the entrance stands a finely designed waterfall and fountains. The three symmetrical grey vertical walls represent the three Pioneers, who were instrumental for the advent of the Montfortian presence in India.
The walls again depict the figures of the Founder, the three Pioneers and Rev.Bro.Eleazer, who held the Office of the Principal for a number of years. Against the back drop of great Men like Jesus Christ, Mahatma Gandhiji, Jahaharlal Nehru, Einstein, Mother Teresa, Isaac Newton, C.V.Raman, Bharathiyar, Thiruvalluvar, Shakespeare and Tagore stands the imposing statue of Rev.Bro.Eleazer, the icon of Indian Provinces. Water falling from the three walls form a sheet of water and flows-down three streams, dotted with many small steps, representing over 120 institutions established by the Indian Provinces, spread far and wide from North East to Kanniyakumari.
Further-down, water gushes forth from a round cascade and disperses all along the sides. This represents the continuous flow of Students from our Institution and their contribution to the society at large. The small triangle – the “TITCH MEMORIAL”- with Bro.Eleazer’s statue, stands as a tribute to the person who has been instrumental for what Montfort is today…The Indian Provinces are today!! The small triangular beds all around the statue represent the many years that he served as the Principal. The architecture thus is theme based.

MILLENNIUM COMMEMORATIVE…
The Millennium Commemorative near the School Office represents Montfort of Yesterday, Today and the New Millennium. It is a visual representation of all our dreams for a new world order around the millennium hero JESUS CHRIST.
Montfort is environment friendly.!! Steps have been taken to see that all the kitchen, bathing, washing and toilet waste-water is reused after treating it through a ‘Recycling Plant’ and the same is used for gardening purpose. Other suitable wastes are utilized to be converted into bio-gas for cooking. Montfort also is a role model in ‘Rain Water Harvesting’. All the rain water that drains down is collected into a man-made lake surrounded by an attractive and serene garden. This lake can be experimented to learn boat rowing. Montfort hence remains ‘GREEN MONTFORT’ …

PIONEERS AVENUE…
Montfort School, Yercaud being the second institution to have been founded in India by the Brothers of St.Gabriel, we had the privilege of celebrating the centenary of Monfortian presence in India on a grand scale. The Centenary Memorial, christened ‘Pioneers’ Avenue’ is an impressive structure dedicated to the pioneers—Bro.Jean Baptist de la Salle, Bro. Denis and Bro. Martin de Vertou. May the beacon of light brought to the shores of India by our pioneers ever shine with greater intensity in the years to come.

BRO. EUGENE MEMORIAL…
Montfort Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School is a residential institution with a glorious history dating back to 1st June 1917. The history of Montfort is in essence a history of ideas, visions and hard work of its pioneers—a cyclic poem written by time upon the memories of Brothers, Staff and Students.
It had a modest start with three Pioneers in the persons of Bro. Omer (Director), Bro.Henry Gabriel and Bro.Stanislaus. Soon Bro.Omer had to join the Armed Forces in France and hence Bro.Eugene became the established founder and served Montfort for more than 30 years. ‘Bro.Eugene Memorial’ is an eternal tribute and remembrance to Montfort’s ‘MAN OF DESTINY !’.
