The SENIOR LITERARY ASSOCIATION has been conceived by the DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH to inculcate among the students a flair for the language and to enhance their Literary Skills. It comprises the Students from GRADES Vlll, lX and X. The MOTTO of the association is to STRIVE, to SEEK, to FIND and NOT TO YIELD.
The SLA offers a Competing Platform for the Students who are inquisitive in sharpening their skills of logical thinking. Several ACTIVITIES and COMPETITIONS are conducted throughout the year to improve the LINGUISTIC SKILLS of the MONFORTIANS. It works in tandem to benefit students in the disciplines of Writing and Speaking by conducting Events that are both instructional and enjoyable. It gives them a sense of belongingness in a group where their individuality and talents are respected and instils a sense of confidence to speak out. Thus, it triggers conducive thoughts in its members, encourages them to express and also inspires them to the course of progressive action.
