- Fill up the prescribed application form which is available in our school website.
- Parent's / Student's request letter addressed to the Headmaster of the school with application form and the copy of TC (optional).
- From the school your application will be forwarded to the concerned D.E.O. after it has been counter signed by the Head Master/Head Mistress of the school.
- You will be informed to collect the certificate on a particular date from the school Headmaster.

- Application should be in the prescribed form
- Application should be filled in by the applicant only.
- Candidates should remit a fee of Rs.305/- for the first time and Rs. 405/- for the second time by Challan through the treasury or State Bank of India.
- Fee remittance will not be accepted through Postal Order or Banker’s Cheque.
- The filled in application should be endorsed by Head master / Head mistress of the school in which the applicant last studied.
- A self-addressed envelope with Rs. 30/- stamp affixed should be enclosed with the application.
- Certified copy of the Marksheet will be sent directly to the candidate in the enclosed self-addressed envelope.
- The name of the school where candidate studied and the marks obtained will only be written in the certified copy Marksheet. Date of Birth will not be given.
- A fee Rs. 55/- in addition, by Challan should be paid to obtain a copy of Date of Birth.
- The Head of the school should endorse and send the application enclosed with Challan and self addressed envelope to the Secretary, Directorate of Govt. examinations Chennai – 6.

Dear Parent,
I would like to inform you that those are in need of Migration certificate can follow the instructions carefully along with the following enclosures and hand over the same to the Directorate of Government Examinations to the below given address either directly in person or send it by Registered/Speed post.
Enclosures :-
- Migration Certificate – can be downloaded in our school website
- Xerox copies of Marksheet of the Public Examination passed is duly attested by a Gazetted Officer / Head Master of a School.
- Xerox copies of Marksheet, Transfercertificate is duly attested by a Gazetted Officer / Head Master of a School.
- Fee paid original chalan for Rs.505/- paid through the attached Chalan - can be downloaded in our school website (only to be paid in any treasury inside the Tamilnadu)
- Self addressed envelope (Postage stamp affixed for Rs.30/-).
With all the above the application has to be sent to "The Director, Directorate of Govt. Examinations, College Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai 600 006."

- Enclose the copy of Class 10 / Class 12 marksheet (whichever need)
- Get FIR copy from the police station from Native Place.
- Applicant should obtain a declaration from the Thasildhar for your area to state that the mark sheet is missing and need a duplicate one.
- Please make the payment for the charges of Rs.505/- to the treasury through Challan attached.
- Submit the application form (original - 1 set & xerox - 2 sets) to your previous school along with the marksheets, Challan, FIR and certificate received from the Thasildhar office.
- From the school your application will be forwarded to the concerned D.E.O. after it has been counter signed by the Head Master/Head Mistress of the school.
- When the duplicate certificate receives from the respective department, you will be informed to collect the certificate on a particular date from the school head master.
